Latex rubber or milk producing plants are considered bad near house because they are bad for finances. The plants with thorns increase enemies. The trees which bear fruits harm the progeny and plants with yellow flowers are inauspicious inside the house.
The author is telling us about the types of plants and trees which should not be grown near the house. Please note that this stanza talks about the plants which are even near the house (They may not be even grown by you and may be in vicinity. These plants and trees should be uprooted).
