THE SELECTION OF THE SUITABLE SITE/LAND FOR HOUSE- VASTU RULES

Following type of land or plots should be avoided for living purpose.

1. The land or plot adjacent to king/Minister, or where meetings are held or which carries tombs etc. Similar view is shared by Great Varahmihircharya in Vrihat Sahinta “सचिवालयेऽर्थनाशो धूत्तगृहे सुतवधः समीपस्थे ।“

2. Clouded from factories, by smoke like the smoke of a dyeing factory.

3. Those surrounded by workshops like car servicing center, blacksmiths, ironsmiths etc.

4. That which is at the junction of four path, two path or Rajmarg or travel route of ministers.

5. That which carries Sala tree or Shorea robusta, trees.

6. That which carries a garden of Sal trees.

7. Land, which is frequented by Boards and monkeys. Similar views expressed by revered writer of Manasara.

The seers with the knowledge of vastushastra advocate that the plots of the above kind should be avoided if one expects to have a rise in life.
